The Importance of a Wave

Throughout our trip we traveled mostly through rural parts of Africa. We would frequently get children on the side of the road waving at us as we drove by. There was not one time that I did not wave back because it was only respectful to acknowledge their greeting. Each time I waved it made me smile because the kids would get excited. This photos is in Malawi as we were heading for the border to Tanzania.
