Midget Striptease

I have to say that regardless of how you feel about prostitution, Pattaya, the prostitution capital of the world, has got to be one of the most unique places I have ever visited in my life.  There is nothing like it in the world which makes it worth visiting.  Prostitution in Pattaya is blatant and in your face which probably will keep people away however that shouldn’t stop visitors from seeing the place.  Visiting Pattaya is about being a spectator and experiencing the craziness that it is….crowded streets, pink lights, discos, bars, clubs, beaches, street vendors, and neon signs everywhere. As a friend put it, “It’s like being in Vegas on crack.” There is something somber about seeing the tourism sex trade in full effect but it’s better than driving by drug addicted hookers in Hollywood walking the streets.  The prostitution is controlled in Pattaya to a large extent (such as Amsterdam) so it doesn’t make you feel as bad.  I do not condone prostitution and have never agreed with it however after traveling the world I wasn’t going to let it stop me from visiting this place.  In the end I loved it for being this unique microcosm on this crazy place we call earth because truly there is nothing like it on the planet.  The picture above is blurry but I had to post it because it will give you a snapshot of what I saw and experienced there.  The photo is a of a midget dancing on a bar. While this was happening a lady boy named Linda was arguing with some Arab guys who were giving her shit. She would sass back by telling them they all had small dicks then she would shake her hips and tell everyone she was Shakira.  On top of that some guy was trying to steal shoes from a store next door so there was major chaos all around.  And finally while all of the above was happening the police were trying to get the bar to shut off its blaring music because it was past the noise curfew.  It was insane to say the least.  Visit without judgement and you will no doubt have a great time.
