Taba Hilton

Nothing exciting here just a regular old Hilton Hotel, in Taba, Egypt on the Egyptian/Israeli border. Actually the reason I took a photo of this hotel is because it was the site of a terrorist attack in 2004 that killed 34 people and injured 171. This was the second place I went by on my trip that was the site of a terrorist attack, the first being the US Embassy in Nairobi. Unfortunately after this attack, less Israeli tourists visit this area, which has impacted tourism in this region leaving once thriving places like Nuweiba complete desolate and abandoned.
