Western Wall Full Frontal

Western Wall Full Frontal Full shot of the Western Wall in Jerusalem. Woman are only allowed to go to the left in a crammed little spot of the wall while all the dudes get to kick it along the rest of it. No comment (if you catch my drift)…

Western Wall

Western Wall Shot of the Western Wall aka the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem…the holiest of Jewish sites. I was not very impressed cause it is what it is…just a wall. I was never sure what to expect but definitely not this…whatev’ c’est la vie.

JESUS!!

JESUS!! So here you have it folks…if you were planning on going to Jerusalem to see where Jesus was crucified, you don’t need to worry about it cause I just did it for you via this photo. This is the chapel, or whatever you want to call it, that they built over the site where He was left to hang. All the people you see standing, chilling in line to go in, are peeps from the Jesus fan club patiently waiting to get a peek inside. Did I go in? Hell no…cause God knows I’m an “evil loving” atheist who would never care to stand in a four hour line to check out where His...

Church of the Holy Sepulcher

Church of the Holy Sepulcher How do I know I’m not religious????….cause I was standing in front of the Church of the Holy Sepulcher and I had NO idea what it was. I stumbled upon this place and saw a bunch of people going in but I had no idea what is was since I had not read anything about Jerusalem before stepping foot in the city. I shrugged it off and decided to skip it, opting instead for a juicy shawarma. While eating I decide to read my Lonely Planet and low and behold I realized that this place is where our dear lord baby Jesus was crucified. So again my plans changed and I decided to go back. Here...

Damascus Gate – Jerusalem

Damascus Gate – Jerusalem So when I was planning my trip to Israel, the plan was to stay in Tel Aviv just for a couple of days then go to Jerusalem for a couple of days. That all changed once I got to Tel Aviv cause 1. I really liked Tel Aviv and 2. everyone in Tel Aviv told me Jerusalem wasn’t worth a night and that a day trip was sufficient. So in the end I just took a day trip to Jerusalem and I’m thankful that that was all the time I spend there…I’ll explain later. This is a shot of Damascus Gate on the west side of the Old City in Jerusalem.

Tel Aviv Street Shot

Tel Aviv Street Shot Random shot just to show you what one street in Tel Aviv looked like. Nothing groundbreaking but it’s a pleasant city to walk around in with tree-lined streets and wide sidewalk.

Random Graffiti

Jewish Bakery

Jewish Bakery Damn I totally forgot that Jews are brilliant bakers. Though I never tried anything (never really got around to it cause I was always full), I loved drooling while staring through the windows of the bakeries.
