Dahab

Dahab Finally made it to the coast and out of the frickin’ desert. This is a photo of Dahab, Egyptian at night. Great place to relax and chill out. Tons of restaurants to chill out at right on the water.

Home, Sweet Home

Home, Sweet Home Sunset in the Egyptian desert. This photo kinda reminds me of the California desert around Palm Springs or Death Valley. Still on the bus heading east toward Dahab. This was the bus ride from hell. Since it was Ramadan the bus driver felt it was necessary to blast prayers the entire 20 hours we were on the road. And go figure, the speaker was right above my seat so that shit was blasting hella loud all night long. It was miserable and I just wanted to tell the driver to turn the volume down but of course I couldn’t say anything and just had to suck it up…it was brutal.

Last Hieroglyphics Pic

Last Hieroglyphics Pic Okay folks so here you have it, the last hieroglyphics picture on this blog. If I knew what any of them represented I’m sure you’d be a lot more interested but unfortunately I have a shit load of stuff to post so I can’t spend too much time going back and remembering what it means. In any case at this point in my trip I was a little templed out so I bounced first thing in the morning to head to the beach cause the desert was just too hot. This photo was taken at Hatshepsut Temple on the west bank of Luxor.

Temple Ceiling

Luxor Mall

Luxor Mall This is a photo of the Luxor Mall. Actually it’s not…it’s the Hatshepsut Temple on the west bank of Luxor near Valley of the Kings. A lot of it was rebuilt but nonetheless it was still pretty cool.

Valley of the Kings

Valley of the Kings Unfortunately no cameras were allowed in the Valley of the Kings so sorry folk no pics for you. This is just a shot from the outside. Definitely a nice place to visit.
