Frickin Cold

Frickin Cold Me freezing my tits off in the safari jeep. Since it was suggested that all the gear we would need to bring for this side excursion was a mankini, I of course came under dressed and ended up getting so cold I had to wrap myself in a blanket and then jump into my sleeping bag.

Dinner Watching

A Being’s Most Vulnerable State

A Being’s Most Vulnerable State Shot of an impala or African Bambi type creature taking a doozy aka dropping the kids off in the bush (sorry kids no pool!). This is probably a creature’s (including us) most vulnerable state cause there is nowhere to run or hide. It’s like imagining yourself taking a dump during an earthquake…there is nothing you can do but just sit there and ride it out.

March of the Zebras

March of the Zebras Inside the Ngorongoro Crater, Tanzania. Hundreds of zebras walking single file heading somewhere perhaps a party, potluck, a nephew’s baptism…though it’s killing me, you know what?…we’ll never know!

Climbing the Crater

Climbing the Crater Early morning wake up call to jump in the safari jeeps to head into the Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area. View from the van as we approach the rim. Silly rabbit trix are for kids and you just thought Africa was all sunshine and baboons…pshaw!

Red Banana

I already had a hard time coming to terms with purple cauliflowers and the fact that Paris Hilton has herpes…but this, a red bananas, this is on a whole other level. NEWS ALERT: It also tastes like banana…jesus what is this world turning into!
